Dr. Valeriu Cebotaru is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include chronic kidney disease, internal medicine, kidney stones and polycystic kidney disease.

Dr. Cebotaru received his medical degree from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Carol Davila in Romania. He then completed a residency in general surgery at Floreasca Hospital and a residency in internal medicine at Harbor Hospital Center. He performed his fellowship in medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, a fellowship in nephrology at Parkland Hospital, and another fellowship in nephrology at Johns Hopkins. He joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2012.
