Erik Hasenboehler, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery / Division of Adult and Trauma Surgery at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Specializing in orthopaedic trauma, Dr. Hasenboehler sees and treats all adult long bone fractures, simple and complex peri-articular fractures, pelvis and acetabular fracture, and patients with politrauma. He also performs traumatic hip replacements and treats non-unions, malunion and bone infections related to fractures. He has research interests related to fracture care, outcome and treatment.
Dr. Hasenboehler is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Society, the Eastern Association for Trauma Surgery and the Swiss Trauma Society. He is a faculty member of the prestigious international trauma society AO International and AO-North American Chapter.
