Dr. Rani Hasan is an attending interventional cardiologist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is also an instructor in the Division of Medicine.

Dr. Hasan received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and economics at the University of Florida and his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hasan pursued fellowships at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in cardiovascular disease — where he was named chief fellow — and in interventional cardiology. During this period he earned a master’s in health sciences (MHS) in clinical investigation from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is currently an advanced fellow in structural and peripheral interventions.

Dr. Hasan’s clinical interests include management of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and other catheter-based procedures.
