Background
Asa Margolis, D.O., M.P.H., began his career in medicine as a prehospital provider over a decade ago. He completed a fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he previously completed residency and served as chief resident.
He is currently an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins and program director of the EMS Fellowship. Dr. Margolis is the medical director of the Johns Hopkins Lifeline Critical Care Transport Program and associate medical director of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. He also continues to work closely with several local, state and federal agencies as a medical officer within the Center for Law Enforcement Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
