Dr. Hrant S. Semerjian is a urologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital, where he serves as a clinical professor of urology. Dr. Semerjian is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He practices out of George Washington Medical Faculty Associates (GWUMFA) in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Semerjian has an expertise in treating genitourinary cancers, kidney stones, benign prostate hypertrophy, male infertility, female and male incontinence, erectile dysfunction and voiding dysfunction including overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis.
Dr. Semerjian earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed a residency in general surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, followed by a residency in urology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Semerjian is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been a diplomat of the American Board of Urology. He was also elected as a member of the Academy of Medicine of Washington, D.C. in 2006.
Dr. Semerjian actively participates in teaching and training residents, as well as professionally sponsored educational programs.
