Background

Dr. Francesca K. Litow is an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She holds an adjunct appointment in environmental health sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Litow serves as the co-director of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program at the Johns Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Litow’s areas of clinical expertise include medical surveillance for exposed individuals and populations; fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations; and review of long-term disability cases.

She earned her M.D. at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completedoccupational and environmental medicine residency at Johns Hopkins. She also holds an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. SHe is board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She is also a certified Medical Review Officer and is certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) to perform commerical driver medical examinations.
