Background

Adrian Haith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. Dr. Haith's research is focused on developing and testing theories of how the brain controls movement of the body, and how it learns to improve its control through experience. Dr. Haith received his undergraduate degree from Cambridge University in 2003 (MA, Mathematics). He received an MSc in Machine Learning/Informatics from the University of Edinburgh in 2004 and completed his PhD with Dr. Sethu Vijayakumar in Edinburgh in 2009. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Reza Shadmehr in Biomedical Engineering from 2009 to 2012 and as a postdoctoral fellow in the BLAM Lab from 2012-2014.
