Biography

Dr. Junichi Naganuma is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Naganuma received his M.D. from the University of Tokyo. He completed a residency in surgery at the University of Tokyo, followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.  He went on to complete a residency in anesthesiology at Teikyo University School Of Medicine, a residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in anesthesiology and critical care medicine from Massachusetts General Hospital.

He was awarded the Rising Faculty Award by the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine in May 2015.
