Research Interests: Public health workforce development


Dr. Miriam Alexander received her undergraduate degree and M.D. from Cornell University. She earned her M.P.H. and completed her preventive medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Dr. Alexander was formerly the director of the General Preventive Medicine Residency Program at Johns Hopkins. 

Her research focuses on public health workforce development. 

She served as president of the American College of Preventive Medicine from 2011 to 2013 and received the organization’s Distinguished Service Award in 2007. more
