I see him every 6 months after I get a new CT scan of my lungs. The test results always have different things I don't quite understand. Dr. Batterfarano always explains the results with me to make sure that I understand the results & next steps.

My primary reason for traveling to Johns Hopkins is Dr Battafarano. My recovery time from a surgery performed by him was much shorter than other surgeries in a different state.

I have been seeing Dr. Battafarano for years. I feel that I could not have chosen a better doctor. He is a true professional; shows kindness, respect and concern for my needs and is never in a hurry to rush through the appointment. I always look forward to my sessions with him and feel that my needs are met. Overall, he is a very kind and compassionate person and takes such care to explain things to me with simplicity and clarity. I always feel comforted when I leave the appointment.

Dr. Battafarano was fantastic. He provided a very thorough overview of my heath issue. I felt he had done his homework on my case and was very compassionate when communicating my need for surgery. I am currently in the process of obtaining a second opinion and reviewing hospitals closer to my home in Floridia. However, Johns Hopkins is at the top of my list and I'm Looking forward to receiving possible surgery dates from Dr Battafarano.
