Dr. Lisa Y. Xu is an assistant professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include skin cancer, laser treatment, medical dermatology and general dermatology.
Prior to joining the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2013, Dr. Xu served as director of the Clinical Research Unit and associate director of the residency program at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Xu earned her medical degree at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her medical training and a dermatology residency at Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital.
She also completed a laser-therapy fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, as well as a research fellowship at Kentucky’s University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Dr. Xu is American Board of Dermatology-certified. She sees patients at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and the Green Spring Station Clinic.
