Dr. Kenzo Hirose is a general surgeon specializing in benign and malignant conditions of the liver, pancreas and bile duct. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and studies patient outcomes and survival after surgery. He is associate program director of the Halsted General Surgical Residency Program.
Dr. Hirose received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Harvard College and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. After residency and fellowships at the University of California-San Francisco and the Cleveland Clinic, he joined the Johns Hopkins faculty as assistant professor in 2008.
