Biography

Dr. Malas is a vasular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive treatment of vascular conditions. His clinical and research interests focus on minimally invasive endovascular repair of abdominal, thoracic and peripheral aneurysms, aortic dissection, angioplasty and stenting of: the carotid artery with cerebral protection to prevent stroke; the renal artery to prevent renal failure and treat intractable hypertension; the subclavian artery to treat steal syndrome; the lower extremity arteries for limb salvage and to treat intermittent claudication. Dr. Malas provides comprehensive assessment of venous disease, including varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency.
