Dr. Daoud specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. A fellowship-trained cornea surgeon, he is a published author in multiple ophthalmology journals and is involved in research to improve ocular health.
Dr. Daoud received his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School and completed an internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was the recipient of the “Best Bedside Skills” Teamwork Award. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University and he completed a cornea fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
