Amy DeZern is appointed assistant professor of oncology in Hematologic Malignancy/Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
Dr. DeZerns long-term goal is to develop a translational clinical investigation program focused on malignant and non-malignant bone marrow failure states. Amy received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins and also completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins. After her first year of fellowship, she served as the prestigious Assistant Chief of Service and Instructor in Medicine and during the past two years, Amy trained in clinical research in leukemia and bone marrow failure states with Dr. Robert Brodsky and Dr. Mark Levis. She also earned her masters in health science from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
