Dr. Izlem Izbudak is an Assistant Professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Radiology and Radiological Science. Her work focuses on pediatric neuroradiology.
She earned her M.D. from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her residency at Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey, and she performed a fellowship in radiology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Izbudak joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2002.
Dr. Izbudak received the 2004 Young Investigators Award in SNM 2004 for her work on “Homing of Stem Cells to Myocardial Infarction Demonstrated by SPECT/CT.”
She most recently served as activity director for the 2013 Johns Hopkins Neuroradiology Review. She has been published numerous times in Science Direct for her pediatric neuroradiology work.
