Dr. Isabel Green is assistant professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Her areas of clinical expertise include menstrual disorders, fibroids and minimally invasive surgery to treat these and other gynecologic conditions.

Dr. Green received her undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her M.D. from Cornell University’s Weill Medical College and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins University. After her fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Washington Hospital Center, Dr. Green joined the Johns Hopkins Faculty in 2008. Dr. Green has helped to expand the division of Gynecologic Specialties minimally invasive surgery program and advance resident surgical education. Most recently she assumed the position of medical director of resident outpatient services, where she promotes resident education in the outpatient sector. She is active in the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, serving as an ad hoc reviewer for the society journal, and sits on multiple committees. more
