Dr. Jeremy Barron is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of geriatric medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include primary and urgent care of older adults.
Dr. Barron is the director of Ambulatory Care Services at Johns Hopkins and medical director or the Beacham Center for Geriatric Medicine.
After receiving his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Barron completed his residency in internal medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He performed a fellowship in geriatric medicine and gerontology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
His research interests include the health benefits of productive aging and occupational geriatrics.
