Background

Dr. Vikesh Singh is currently Professor of Medicine and Director of Pancreatology where he oversees the Pancreatitis Center and the Islet Autotransplantation Programs. He is also the Director of Endoscopy at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He graduated with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics-Biology from Brown University, an M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and an M.Sc. in epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, fellowship in gastroenterology from Brigham and Women's Hospital and a 2 year advanced endoscopy fellowship with a focus on pancreaticobiliary endoscopy from Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Pancreas Foundation, Chair of the Pancreatic Disorders Section of the American Gastroenterological Association, a Councilor for the International Association of Pancreatology and a member of the inaugural Medical Advisory Board for the Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) Foundation.
