Delese LaCour, M.D., practices obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians East Baltimore Medical Center. She sees patients from infancy to age 22, and she is specially trained to provide sensitive, age-appropriate examinations and treatment. Dr. LaCour is experienced in addressing a wide variety of health-related concerns including acne, body image, development, eating disorders, menstrual cycles, sexuality, contraception and painful periods. She understands the variations of normal prepubertal anatomy and physiology and knows how to communicate with a child and with her parents.
Dr. LaCour received her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore. She is fellowship trained in pediatric and adolescent gynecology from the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. LaCour is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
