Background
Richard H. Schoen, O.D., is a Clinical Associate at the Wilmer Eye Institute, specializing in comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, and contact lens fitting. Additional clinical interests include evaluation for refractive surgery candidates, detection and management of dry eye, cataract, glaucoma, ocular manifestations of diabetes and detection of age related macular degeneration.
Dr. Schoen earned his O.D. degree at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. He has pursued post-graduate education in treatment of ocular disease, corneal reshaping therapy and evaluation of refractive surgery candidates.
