Biography

Robert Dudas, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He came to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 1998, and currently serves as assistant director of medical student education for the Department of Pediatrics. He also is the Helen Taussig College Faculty Co-Leader of the Colleges Advisory Program in the School of Medicine.

Dr. Dudas is actively engaged in curriculum development and evaluation for the School of Medicine. He also serves as medical director of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he oversees pediatric care delivered in the emergency department, inpatient department and nursery. He has academic interests in health service delivery and medical education, with a focus on simulation, clinical skills development and assessment. He has been the recipient of institutional teaching awards from both medical students (2003) and residents (2004 and 2005).

For Dr. Dudas, Johns Hopkins Bayview combines the best elements of an academic medical center (teaching and research) with a community medical center that serves the needs of the local population.

In his spare time, Dr. Dudas enjoys mountainbiking.
