Dr. Everett R. Siegel is assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include psychiatry, psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, and student and employee mental health.
Dr. Siegel received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
He is also a psychoanalyst who graduated from the Baltimore-Washington Psychoanalytic Institute. He is an attending physician in the Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders Program, works in University Mental Health and is medical director of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.
Beyond his clinical interests, Dr. Siegel's other professional interests include workplace violence and disaster psychiatry.
