Dr. Neu is an elected Councilor for the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the International Society of Pediatric Nephrology. Dr. Neu serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Pediatric Renal Trials and Collaborative Study (NAPRTCS), and is also vice-chair of NAPRTCS' Participating Centers Committee and chair of the Special Studies Committee. She leads the Standardizing Care to Improve Outcomes in Pediatric End-stage renal disease (SCOPE) Project, which is part of the Children's Hospital Association's Quality Transformation Network. Dr. Neu previously served on the American Board of Pediatrics' Nephrology Subboard, the Executive Committee the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on Pediatric Nephrology, and as Chair of the American Society of Transplantation's Pediatric Community of Practice Executive Committee.
Dr. Alicia Neu is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has served as Clinical Director in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology since 2000 and Medical Director of Pediatric Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation since 2001. She cofounded the Pediatric Stone Clinic and serves as the medical director of this multi-disciplinary clinic. She also serves as the director of the pediatric nephrology fellowship program.
