Dr. Neu is an elected member of the American Board of Pediatrics Nephrology Subboard and the Executive Committee of American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Nephrology. She was recently selected as a pediatric nephrology representative to the American Board of Pediatrics and American Academy of Pediatrics Council of Pediatric Subspecialties. Dr. Neu serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Pediatric Renal Trials and Collaborative Study, and is also vice-chair of the Participating Centers Committee and chair of the Special Studies Committee. She is Chair-Elect of the Executive Committee of the American Society of Transplantations Pediatric Community of Practice. She is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, serving on the Clinical Affairs Practice Management Sub-Committee, Training Program Directors Committee, and Training and Certification Committee.
Dr. Alicia Neu is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has served as Clinical Director in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology since 2000 and Medical Director of Pediatric Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation since 2001. She cofounded the Pediatric Stone Clinic and serves as the medical director of this multi-disciplinary clinic. She also serves as the director of the pediatric nephrology fellowship program.
