HOPKINS BEST DRESSED SALE SET FOR SEPTEMBER 26-29
Jump-Start Shopping for Fall Fashion 2002 for Pennies
Some Baltimore traditions just keep getting bigger and better. That's certainly the case with this year's Johns Hopkins Best Dressed Sale and Boutique 2002. Exclusive designer dresses and shoes, chic contemporary fashions, classic accessories and enduring vintage clothing will be on the racks, waiting for a favored place in the closets of bargain-conscious shoppers. All money raised goes to support The Johns Hopkins Hospital and its patients.
The sale begins Thursday, September 26 from 9am to 8pm and continues Friday, September 27, 9am to 5pm, Saturday, September 28, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday September 29, 12pm-4pm.
"This is guilt-free shopping, a sale that features gently used clothing for the entire family", says Vivienne Haines who co-chairs this year's event with Bev Winter. "Shoppers will find career apparel, upscale evening gowns and tuxedos, trend-setting accessories and jewelry, and children's clothing for parties and play."
Thousands of shoppers turn out each year for this fund-raising event sponsored by The Women's Board of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. More than $11 million has been raised by the Board through various fundraisers to support the programs at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. For details or directions call The Women's Board Office Mondays through Fridays at 410-955-9341.
