Lia's Interests

Lia is a third year medical student taking a year off to earn an MPH in the School of Public Health. She is interested in research related to reducing medical risk and improving safety in hospitals and the role of communication in promoting effective teams in the hospital. She is currently working with Dr. Peter Pronovost. The goal of her current research is to evaluate the clinical and economic effects of implementing intensivist-related interventions in ICUs across the country.
