
Ariel Green is a 4th year medical student pursuing an MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is interested in epidemiologic research related to aging, as well as social determinants of health, and health policy. This year, she is working with Dr. Constantine Lyketsos and Dr. Linda Fried on a research project exploring the risk factors and health consequences of social isolation among the elderly. After medical school, she plans to complete residency training in internal medicine and to specialize in geriatrics. Her long-term goals in addition to clinical practice are to conduct epidemiologic research, create public health initiatives and help shape policies that improve the lives of older adults.
