Steven Chen's Bio

Steven is currently taking a year off before 4th year of medical school to pursue an MPH at the school of Public Health. He is originally from Saratoga, California, but has been living in Baltimore ever since he moved here for college in 2001. Steven is interested in clinical trials in Cardiovascular Medicine. He is working with Dr. Lawrence Appel and Dr. Gary Gerstenblith on a project to study the use of diet intervention for modification of 10-year risk of Coronary Heart Disease. In the future, he hopes to apply his new knowledge from the MPH program in clinical research.
