Catherine Chen's Bio

Catherine is a third year medical student taking a year off to earn an MPH in the School of Public Health. She is interested in surgical outcomes research and is working with Dr. Martin Makary to study the impact of obesity on surgical outcomes in breast cancer patients. She hopes to someday pursue a career in surgery and public health.
