Rehabilitation Psychologists and Neuropsychologists

Rehabilitation psychologists and neuropsychologists help patients and families understand and manage physical, cognitive, and emotional problems associated with recovery from an injury or illness. They use specialized assessments to evaluate your cognitive functioning as it relates to memory, attention, language, affect and problem-solving skills. Based on the evaluation, they use behavioral and psychological interventions to help you manage chronic illness, chronic pain or disability.
