Richard D. Zorowitz, M.D., Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Chairman of PM&R at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center has been named a representative to the National Quality Forum (NQF), for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The aim of the NQF is to improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans through fulfillment of its three-part mission:
- Setting national priorities and goals for performance improvement;
- Endorsing national consensus standards for measuring and publicly reporting on performance; and
- Promoting the attainment of national goals through education and outreach programs.
