Dr. Ianessa Humbert Receives ASHA Award

On June 2nd 2010,  Dr. Ianessa Humbert received notice from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), that she is a recipient of The Award for Early Career Contributions in Research. This award is designed to acknowledge significant scientific accomplishments by individuals beyond the dissertation and within five years of receiving their doctoral degree or other terminal degree. This award may be given to an individual or individuals under contract with an institution of higher education or other institution where research in communication sciences and disorders and sciences is being conducted. Dr. Humbert will be formally recognized for this award with a presentation at the Association's Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA on November 19, 2010.
