Pines Cabahug, MD and Nathan Neufeld, DO (along with Karla Jarrett, RN, Noel Malvar, PT, RN and 2 administrative interns), just won first place in the JHH Achieving Competence Today Program interdisciplinary quality improvement education program. This competition involves developing a QI project, and presenting it to the awards committee (which includes Ron Peterson, Judy Reitz, and Chip Davis). They receive funding for continuing their project, which involves improving the accuracy and completeness of discharge summaries between levels of care. Dr. Sam Mayer served as the faculty advisor for this project.
Please join me in congratulating them for this prestigious award!
