The Johns Hopkins Laboratory For Translational Research in Pemphigus

FUNDING AND GIFT GIVING

FUNDING FOR THE FUTURE

Research requires funding. Unfortunately, the current funding mechanisms of federal government cannot be counted on since priorities change quickly and research programs that take years to establish can be stripped of funding due to short-term budgetary exigencies.

The establishment of a fund to permanently endow this research effort ensures that the work will progress despite any future changes in personnel or interruptions of external funding. The purpose of this fund is to support a sustained and focused research effort to find a "cure" for pemphigus.
