The Saga of Sam

The Saga of Sam

Saturday, May 21, 1994

Saturday brought you the best day in a while.  You went shopping, got a haircut (Mohawk), and went to Shaun's baseball game.  Sleeping is still problematic, so we moved you back to your waterbed.  The hospital bed never quite suited you.

The days continue with nausea, vomiting, nosebleeds, fevers, etc.  Your mood is changeable, but actually pretty good, given the conditions under which you must operate.  Calls to Dr. Schwarz are frequent.  Your skin has changed noticeably.  There are small bumps (like goose bumps) on your legs.  I've seen them before, they are worse and you have noticed.  Your muscle tone has completely disappeared.  Your stomach is constantly upset.
