Sam, you were a healthy and happy twelve year old, tall and good looking.  You were athletically built, lean and sinewy.  Your eyelashes were long, accenting your eyes and contributing to your handsome looks.  An "All-Star" baseball player, you played catcher, short stop, outfield, and pitched.  You were a better than average soccer goalie, and a basketball player.  School was fun for you.  You were in several "Gifted and Talented" classes, and your sharp inquisitive mind made you a favorite of the teachers.  This was your first year in Ridgely Middle School, and while you had worn your hair in a Mohawk for the last year or so, it was conventionally styled now.  You had a great sense of humor that made you easy to be with and well liked.  You have a vivid imagination and an exploring nature that gives a free unencumbered spirit.  Your nature will be an asset in the adventure that I'm about to relate.
