Welcome to the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program

Welcome to the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program

Johns Hopkins has been doing heart transplants since 1983

We do the majority of all heart and heart-lung transplants for the state of Maryland and we also manage the care of international patients.  Johns Hopkins has very good overall survival rates for transplants.  Our capabilities have been established for infants under one year of age and those with complicated medical backgrounds.

Our institution offers the Hopkins Family Heart Network to provide extensive support for patients and their families.
