Katie Taylor, B.S.N.

Performance Improvement Coordinator for Pediatric Trauma/Burn  

Katie began working in the Children’s Center in 1998.  She was a PICU nurse for 7 ½ years and then was a senior nurse in the pediatric PACU for two years.  As a PI Coordinator she works with outside providers as well as in house medical staff to assure that children are receiving the best care possible.

Clinical Interests:
Improving the care of children involved in a traumatic incident. 
Safety education in the public.

1997: Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Maryland School of Nursing

Credentials:
10 years pediatric nursing experience including being a part of the trauma response team.
