Directions to O.R. (Inpatient Operating Room)
If you have an appointment with Drs. Colombani, Lau, Sawaya, Price or Abdullah, you need to go to the 7th floor of the Blalock building.
If you need parking, the closest garage available to patients is the McElderry Garage.
Directions from garage to Inpatient operating room:
 Outpatent Center Entrance | Once you exit the garage walk the path straight under covered path to the main entrance to the OUTPATIENT CENTER ("The Robert M. Heyssel Building"). |
| If you have an orange hospital card, you can bypass the Patient Information Desk on your left. If you do not have an orange card, you will need to stop and check in at the Patient Information Desk. (All visitors need to stop for a pass.) |
| Continue forward until you pass the Women's Board Coffee Shop through the automatic doors. You will come to a check-in desk on your right and the METRO on your left. Continue straight up two sets of escalators. |
| You will make a left when you come the hallway at the top of the escalators and pass the Information Desk on your right. |
| Follow the hallway straight and make a right at the end (Children's Admitting) into the first hallway. |
 Blalock Patient Lobby | The next opening on your left is the Blalock Building lobby. Enter the lobby and take the elevators to floor 7. |
 Surgery Registration (Osler 720) | Make a left into the hallway and follow through Blalock into the Osler building. You will see a sign: Same Day Surgery. You will check in there (Osler 720). |
