Kidney Transplant: Sam and John Cosby

When Sam Cosby experienced kidney failure, his father made sure he had one.

Sam Cosby was in his early twenties when he diagnosed with kidney failure and was in need of a kidney transplant. His father, John Cosby, offered to donate one of his kidneys in a paired donation program to provide a transplant for his son. They both share their story, along with Johns Hopkins transplant surgeon Dorry Segev, M.D.
