Our division conducts research on an ongoing basis to learn more about the causes of
otolaryngology problems in children and, ultimately, to improve patient care.

Currently, we are working toward:

• Identifying the genetic factors involved in hearing loss

• Improving surgical treatment of airway lesions in young children

• New methods of treating obstructive sleep apnea in children
