How to Help

Dozens of Johns Hopkins physicians, nurses and other volunteers are helping treat survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

You can support this group of trained medical experts, the Hopkins Go Team, with a donation to Johns Hopkins Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR).

    Write check to American Red Cross; put Haiti in the memo line to designate the Haitian Earthquake fund. Mail or drop off your check to:

    Donate online at www.redcross-cmd.org or by calling 410-624-2000 ext. 2450
        
  • Use Red Cross Canisters
    Take up a collection using Red Cross canisters. Stop by 4800 Mt. Hope Drive with a photo ID and you’ll be provided with canisters to take back to your workplace, place of worship or community organization. Call 410-624-2000 ext. 2450 beforehand to confirm availability and office hours.
          
  • Mobile Text
    Text the word “HAITI” to 90999 for a $10 donation to be given automatically to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. It’s fast, easy and will be applied directly to your phone bill.
