Bridging the Gap: Applying Research to Treatment

Date: May 1, 2014

Learning about healthy eating

This one day CME/CEU conference provides a comprehensive update on eating disorders. Predisposing, precipitating and maintaining factors contributing to the development and persistence of eating disorders are reviewed, along with recent neurobiological advances from lab bench to clinic that help inform rational treatment. Information will focus on current models of eating disorders and their application to best practices and clinical care. The conference brings together clinicians and researchers in the eating disorders field and provides attendees with clinical tools to manage this challenging patient population.

This activity is designed for psychiatrists, pediatricians, adolescent medicine specialists, psychologists and others interested in the evidence-based treatment of eating disorders.
