Date: April 18, 2012

Our patients are our top priority. What sets us apart is our dedication to finding the
most effective treatments through research and innovative technology to deliver the
most individualized treatment with the least side effects for the best outcome.

Patients around the world benefit from our ideas, and our physician scientists are
developing new clinical studies use more focused radiation that requires less time and
is also setting the standard for patient safety in radiation therapy.

We are grateful to our donors who provide the fuel innovation and discovery. As
one of the top medical centers in the world, we are responsible for educating and
training the next generation of physicians and scientists. Our resident-based research
program relies on philanthropic support to fund new ideas. The best people, the best
tech, the most promising experiments—all of these require funding. We are entering
a new age of cancer medicine and I looking forward to sharing our progress with you.

Sincerely,
