On the Shoulders of Giants

Thank you for your wonderful article in the winter issue of  Hopkins Medicine Magazine,  “The Day an Era Ended”  [Annals]. The authors made me feel that I was right there in the audience, listening in rapt attention to giants of yesteryear and thinking how lucky we were to have had such marvelous role models as we came of age medically.
