Intranet revamp

The Inside Hopkins Medicine intranet gets a major facelift this month, as faculty and staff have expressed the desire for better interaction when communicating, more practical and engaging information, and efficient access to tools and resources.

The first week in January, insidehopkinsmedicine.org launches a new, clean look and feel that will feature streamlined and intuitive navigation and a prominent calendar that highlights notices for each day. New features will include a photo of the week, video from a roving reporter who will capture employees’ responses to fun and compelling questions, and opinion polls. Additionally, employees will have the capability to rate content and comment. Popular features, such as the Hopkins trivia, will remain. Events and activities, innovative research and leadership messages will all be covered on the site, and info on HR benefits, clinical and administrative policies, and department lists will be easier to locate.
