United, We Give
Date: October 1, 2013
Thanks to your generous donations, last year Johns Hopkins Medicine raised more than $1.6 million during the United Way campaign. This year, staff will strive to make an even bigger difference in the lives of those around us with a goal of just over $1.7 million. “We are confident that through the continued generosity of staff and faculty members throughout our institution that this can be achieved,” says Charlie Reuland, United Way campaign chair and the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
The United Way has many opportunities for giving, from donating to the general fund gift, selecting a specific initiative to donate to (such as the family stability initiative) or even designating the charity of your choice.
This year’s campaign begins on Monday, Oct. 14, and ends on Friday, Nov. 1. “We know that with your assistance, we can achieve our goal, and we might even surpass it again,” says Reuland.
