Fighting Grime, Delighting Children

Date: July 5, 2013

FIGHTING GRIME, DELIGHTING CHILDREN

Eight-year-old Caitlin Koennel, who recently underwent gastrointestinal surgery at Johns Hopkins, enjoys a surprise encounter with window washers dressed up as Spiderman and Batman. The project is among many efforts to enhance patient- and family-centered care. The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children’s Center building has plenty of shimmering glass to keep Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Captain America and the Hulk busy fighting grime, enchanting young patients who watch from within.
