CHEERING THEM ON:
Johns Hopkins radiology residency program coordinator Angel Palmere says she enjoys her day job but also finds fulfillment as a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader. Now into her sixth season on the team and her third as captain, Palmere, pictured at one of her practices at the Ravens’ training facility in Owings Mills, was chosen to represent Baltimore at the 2013 Pro Bowl on Jan. 27. Criteria for that selection include community involvement, dance ability, appearance and leadership. “I’m so proud to work for Johns Hopkins and the Baltimore Ravens,” says Palmere. “Both have strong community outreach dedication.” And, she adds, her interactions with people from all walks of life have strengthened her communication skills on the East Baltimore campus.
